Mark Hix, Director of Food and Lee Streeton, Executive Chef have created a wide range of tempting menus, using only the finest of seasonal ingredients.

Christmas Eve Dinner
Celebrate Christmas the European way and indulge in a three-course dinner which will include treacle-cured salmon with pickled fennel & cucumber; Roast rib of Hereford beef with Yorkshire pudding; Boozy baked Worcestershire apple with cider brandy custard and rounded off with coffee and mince pies.  Price: £85 per person. 

Christmas Day Lunch
Enjoy a glass of chilled Champagne and canapés before indulging in a traditional four-course Christmas lunch in The Albemarle.  The menu will include baked scallops with hedgerow garlic; Roast Holy Farm free-range turkey with all the seasonal trimmings and Christmas pudding with brandy butter.  Father Christmas will also pay a surprise visit, bringing gifts for all the children.  Price: £220 per person.

Christmas Day Dinner
Celebrate Christmas by candlelight in The Albemarle.  The three-course menu will include salad of Jerusalem artichokes with rosemary & lemon; Roast goose with creamed Brussels sprouts & cranberry sauce and mulled wine jelly with cinnamon ice cream.  Price: £95 per person.

New Year’s Eve in The Albemarle
New Year’s Eve at Brown’s Hotel will be shaken and stirred with a James Bond celebration.  The evening will commence with a glass of chilled Taittinger Champagne or Casino Royale Champagne cocktail before moving through to The Albemarle where the party will begin.  Indulge in a six-course dinner including Partridge on toast with wild herbs & elderberries; Fillet of turbot with buttered alexanders; Spiced pumpkin soup; Boreland loin of venison with chervil root, sprout tops & chestnuts and Amedei chocolate soufflé.  Afterwards try your hand at the Black Jack and Roulette tables or dance the night away to live blues, swing and jazz until 1.30am.  Price: £260 per person.

New Year’s Eve in The Donovan Bar
London’s most fashionable bar, The Donovan Bar, will also be adopting a James Bond setting.  The informal evening will include a glass of chilled Taittinger Champagne or a Casino Royale Champagne cocktail, as well as a selection of light dishes served tapas style.  Try your hand at the Black Jack and Roulette tables and dance the night away until the early hours.  Price: £95 per person.

Festive Afternoon Tea at Brown’s
After an exhausting shopping spree, there’s nothing quite like a perfectly brewed cup of tea!  Throughout December, The English Tea Room will be serving Brown’s award-winning Traditional Afternoon Tea with a festive twist.  The Festive Afternoon Tea will include not only a choice of 17 teas, but also delicate pastries including yule logs and mince pies, succulent sandwiches including turkey with cranberry sauce, freshly baked scones and Christmas cake from the trolley.  Relax to the sounds from the baby grand between 2pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and 1pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Advance reservations are recommended.  Price from: £35 per person.

Private Festive Parties at Brown’s Hotel
Brown’s provides the perfect venue for both corporate celebrations and intimate gatherings.  The six private dining rooms boast an abundance of natural daylight, beautiful antique furniture and high ceilings, and can accommodate up to 72 guests for lunch or dinner, or 120 for a reception.  Each event is tailor-made to the host’s specific requirements, with special attention being given to the small details that make a difference.  Christmas decorations, luxury crackers and Christmas trees can be arranged.

What better way to treat the family than by having a festive holiday together.  Book a Deluxe Room or Classic Suite and receive another interconnecting room free for the children.  This stay also includes an outstanding selection of gifts and treats for the children.  Each child under 12 receives a 50% reduction on all food and drink and children under three eat free.   Prices start from £499+VAT per night, based on two adults and two children staying, including continental breakfast for all the family.

The Spa at Brown’s
The Spa is also adopting a festive feel with their Christmas Cranberry Pedicure.  This 90 minutes of pure indulgence includes either a glass of chilled Champagne or a cranberry juice on arrival and starts with a soothing foot massage using cranberry sauce.   This is followed by an invigorating exfoliation using brown sugar before the feet are soaked in warm milk, cream, apples and cranberries.  Guests will then enjoy a second foot massage and a cooling vanilla paraffin foot wrap.  All of this, as well as having your feet buffed, nails clipped and painted for just £85 per person.  The Spa is also offering throughout December the ideal party preparation package – the Red Carpet package includes an Aromatherapy Associates full body polish, a relaxing back massage, a Carita revitalizing facial and a luxury manicure and pedicure – this 4½ hour package costs £315.
